Graphic Design Full-Time Faculty
Zeny Baduel has taught graphic design classes for over 15 years before joining the Graphic Design faculty of Santa Monica College in 2000. In addition to teaching, Zeny has done freelance work for over 20 years and is a recipient of several design awards. She holds a Masters Degree in Teaching and a Graphic Design degree from New Jersey. Zeny teaches various graphic and web design classes for print and online publishing.
Jamie Cavanaugh has taught at Santa Monica College since 2006. She joined the Graphic Design full-time faculty in Fall, 2010. Jamie earned a M.A. in Film & Television Studies at UCLA with an emphasis in New Media. As Interactive Producer, Jamie worked for 5 years at KBDA, a communication design firm in Los Angeles. Currently she is faculty lead for the Interaction Design Bachelor of Science Degree and she serves as the assistant chair of the Design Technology department.
Bill Lancaster has been teaching Graphic Design full-time at Santa Monica College since 1992. He taught part-time for 13 years prior to that. An Art graduate of Reed College with his M.F.A. in Visual Communications from Syracuse University, Bill teaches a wide variety of graphic design classes. He maintains a freelance practice that specializes in typographic and logotype design.
